International Business Development Manager

You will be primarily responsible for expanding our existing and new business, either through finding new distributors initially in Europe or expanding the collaboration with existing partners, all in pursuit of our goal to grow our business and achieve long-term success.

As our International Business Development Manager, it will be your job to generate leads together with our support team in all relevant territories. This will be done via a variety of methods which include cold calling or cold acquisition. You are able to adapt and enhance our lead generation strategies to align with various needs and market demands. You will be following up on all generated leads while keeping the team informed on the progress. Furthermore, you will have the responsibility of achieving the budget with our existing partners who are key to our organisation.

Excellent Marketing Team

Our Marketing Team supports both you and our distributors by offering a range of tools for effectively introducing our products into targeted markets. These tools range from standard point-of-sale materials to high-end TVC commercials and social media campaigns.

Excellent Support Team

Our support team will help you identify relevant leads, ensure that account management tasks are followed up and manage our sales reporting systems.

Excellent Supply Team

Our supply team is lean and mean and ensures fast deliveries to existing and new distributors. Your responsibility is to keep them very busy!

Excellent Financial Insights  

Our finance team utilizes the latest software to provide daily insights into the financial status of our organization and of the specific requirements of our distributors. With this system in place, you will always have access to the right information for each distributor.

Responsibilities

  • Identify potential international leads (distributors) in 25 international markets and reach out to them
  • Leading the communication with new and existing distribution partners and liaising with internal departments to ensure these partners have adequate information and resources to sell our products
  • Build collaborative relationships with our international partners thereby focusing on key accounts
  • You will be able to identify needs and requirements to promote our products successfully with our partners
  • Responsible for budget

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years working experience in the field of FMCG and/orOTC, Pharma
  • Proven excellence as key account manager of business development manager (or other similar roles)
  • Enthusiastic about cold calling andfinding new distributors
  • Great communication skills and interpersonal abilities
  • Goal-oriented, persuasive and self-motivated
  • You are a confident, high-energy person with a positive attitude
  • Must be fluent in English (written and verbal) and preferably speak a second language
  • Fixed salary and high bonus scheme based on budget
  • Works from our Amsterdam office

Founder’s Right Hand – Operations & International Projects

A Note From Me

I’m looking for someone to work directly with me as my right hand across operations, projects, and international partnerships.

This is not a classic assistant role. I need someone who can think ahead, bring structure, and help keep things moving across a fast-growing, international consumer healthcare business. You’ll be close to decisions, partners, and execution — and you’ll see the full picture.

If you’re someone who draws energy from taking care of things for me, enjoys responsibility, and is therefore actively involved in the growth of our company, this role will suit you.

The Business

I run TheOTCLab, a certified B-Corporation based in Amsterdam. We develop, in-license, and distribute OTC and consumer healthcare products across international markets.

We work with established global brands as well as our own products, through long-term distributor partnerships across Europe and beyond. The business is lean, international, and hands-on. Things move quickly, and clarity matters.

What You’ll Be Doing

Working Directly With Me

  • Help me stay focused on the highest-value priorities
  • Track decisions, actions, and follow-ups
  • Prepare short briefs, summaries, and written updates
  • Make sure important things don’t stall or get lost
  • Monitoring deadlines
  • Handle sensitive matters with discretion

International & Partner Support

  • Support communication with international distributors and partners
  • Keep conversations structured and responsive
  • Ensure partners receive the information and materials they need
  • Help coordinate across countries and time zones

Projects & Operations

  • Support projects across product, regulatory, and launch work
  • Track timelines, deliverables, and dependencies
  • Liaise with consultants, manufacturers, and regulatory partners
  • Bring structure where things are moving fast

Documentation & Organisation

  • Help organize regulatory, commercial, and operational documents
  • Maintain version control and clarity
  • Improve trackers, templates, and workflows as we go

Experience

  • Background in a management-assistant, operations, project coordination, or similar role
  • Strong written and verbal English
  • Comfortable working with international partners
  • High level of discretion and judgement

Country Manager France
(Medical Devices & OTC Consumer Health)

As Country Manager France, you will have full commercial responsibility for TheOTCLab’s business in France. You will build the market from the ground up and turn it into a sustainable, scalable operation. This is a country entrepreneur role, combining market entry, partnerships, brand building and revenue growth. You will report directly to the founder and work closely with Regulatory, Marketing and Supply Chain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the go-to-market strategy for France
  • Identify, engage and contract distributors, pharmacy chains, key accounts and medical partners
  • Drive sales growth, pricing, margins and P&L responsibility
  • Manage partnerships, marketing localization and brand roll-out

Who We Are Looking For

You have 10+ years of experience in pharma, medical devices or OTC consumer health, strong knowledge of the French healthcare market, and an entrepreneurial mindset with proven commercial leadership.
